Pokémon GO Spotlight Hours to bring Fighting, Psychic and Poison/Water-type Pokémon in May 2024
Being in the spotlight is all I have ever wanted, but it seems I will never get it. At least my avatar will be in the spotlight, so that counts as an achievement.
Spotlight Hours are really the best events in Pokémon GO. Say whatever you want to say, but I really love Spotlight Hours, and I would do anything to have them every day.
These events that I am calling Spotlight Hours are 60-minute events where Niantic and Pokémon GO feature a specific Pokémon, and there is always an active bonus with each event. Spotlight Hours take place every Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and it is great chance to hunt down the Shiny forms of the features Pokémon, since there is an abundance of the chosen one.
The monthly schedules are always great, and so is the latest one, which is for May 2024. This upcoming month, Trainers will have four Spotlight Hours, but will encounter five different Pokémon. There will be two Fighting-type Pokémon, one Psychic-type, and a Poison/Water-type Pokémon. The variety matters.
Spotlight Hours in May 2024
- Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee – May 7, 2024, with 2x Transfer Candy
- Abra – May 14, 2024, with 2x Evolution XP
- Elgyem – May 21, 2024, with 2x Catch Stardust
- Mareanie – May 28, 2024, with 2x Catch XP
The bonuses are awesome. They really are.
