Pokémon GO Glitz and Glam Special Research Story and Diancie Themed Field Research Tasks and Rewards

Trainers, if you didn’t have a chance to catch Diancie in Pokémon GO a year ago, Niantic and Pokémon GO are now giving you a free chance to catch this Pokémon, but first, you have to complete all tasks from the Special Research story Glitz and Glam.

Glitz and Glam is the latest Special Research introduced in Pokémon GO, available for free starting May 1, 2024, at 10 AM local time. This Special Research offers six steps, very interesting tasks, rewards, and of course an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Diancie.

Now, if you feel that the tasks are a bit more difficult for you and you think that you will not be able to complete them, don’t worry, you have unlimited time. Yes, that’s right, you just need to claim the Glitz and Glam Special Research, and let time take its course.

But as they say in the commercials, that’s not all! Or wait, there’s more. However, there’s a ‘little more,’ and that’s the new Diancie-Themed Field Research tasks. And they are very interesting. Why? Well, by Catching and Powering Up 10 Pokémon, you can earn Diancie Mega Energy and encounters with Carbink.

• Complete 5 Field Research tasks: Spritzee
• Power Up Pokémon 20 times: 3 Pinap Berry
• Use 20 Berries to help catch Pokémon: Swirlix
• Rewards: 2000 XP, Sableye, and Incense

Glitz and Glam (3/6)

• Use an Incense: 15 Poké Ball
• Power Up Pokémon 20 times: Onix
• Catch 15 different species of Pokémon: 3 Pinap Berries
• Rewards: 2000 XP, Carbink, and 1 Lucky Egg

Glitz and Glam (4/6)

• Complete 5 Field Research tasks: 10 Poké Ball
• Power Up Pokémon 25 times: 10 Great Ball
• Catch 30 Pokémon: 10 Ultra Ball
• Rewards: 2000 XP, Diancie (25 Diancie Candy for players who bought the ticket last year and got a chance to encounter Diancie)

• Evolve 5 Pokémon: 1 Rare Candy
• Power Up 15 Fairy-type Pokémon: 1 Rare Candy
• Power Up 15 Rock-type Pokémon: 1 Rare Candy
• Rewards: 2000 XP, 400 Diancie Mega Energy, and 3 Golden Razz Berry
