Mega Heracross Solo Raid in Pokemon Go, Weakness, Counters and Moves
Trainers, Mega Heracross makes its Pokemon Go debut in April 2024, and we have two positives – it can defeated solo, and it can be shiny.
Mega Heracross is one of the new Pokemon we will have a chance to see and possibly beat and catch in Pokemon Go. This Pokemon will first appear in Mega Raids on April 13 and will remain until April 25.
Niantic and Pokemon Go have confirmed that Mega Heracross can be shiny, but we have to beat it first. The good thing is that we can beat him solo, but we have to use the right Pokemon and moves. It may be challenging, but believe me, you will master it without any problem.
Mega Heracross Weakness
Mega Heracross is 2x weak to Flying-type attacks, so any Pokemon of this type can do the job. Also, if it’s windy, you’ll have an even bigger advantage.
We’ve picked a few counters that we think are the best, so let’s take a look at them below.
Mega Heracross Raid Guide, Best Counters, and Moves
- Mega Rayquaza with Air Slash and Dragon Ascent
- Shadow Rayquaza with Air Slash and Dragon Ascent
- Rayquaza with Air Slash and Dragon Ascent
- Shadow Moltres with Win Attack, and Sky Attack
- Shadow Ho-Oh with Hidden Power and Brave Bird
Can Mega Heracross be Shiny in Pokemon Go?
To our surprise, Shiny Heracross will make its debut too. We are curious to learn more about the shiny rates, but it seems like Shiny Heracross will appear more often during the Raid Day event times. We expect the shiny odds to be somewhere around 1 in 10 or 10%.
We hope our guide will help you defeat Mega Heracross and catch its shiny, pink form.
If you care to share any other counters, feel free to let us know in the comments below.
