The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered PC Version is Rumored to be Ready for Over Six Months

Today, some juicy details have been revealed for one of the most hyped PC releases, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which accordingly is just sitting there fully developed, for more than half a year. If you’ve been wanting to play this game on your PC, it seems like the wait might be longer than necessary.

Our source here is none other than Dealabs user Billbil-kun. If you don’t know who this is, you’re probably new to the gaming leaks scene. This guy’s got a solid track record for revealing game announcements and other info related to the gaming industry ahead of time.

It’s weird to see a game of this caliber just waiting on its release for half a year. The development on the PC version kicked off back in 2021, and further speculations say that Naughty Dog might be holding back the release it with the second season of The Last of Us TV show, slated for 2025, which might hype up its release, just like Bethesda’s Fallout TV show did. Tons of players came back to Fallout, so why not try this out with TLOU 2?

For those who might have missed it, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered hit the PS5 in January, scoring an impressive 90 on Metacritic. So, it’s safe to say the remastered edition is quite praised and popular, so PC gamers would definitely love to try it out.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC. If you need anything, feel free to contact me on X!
