Starting with Patch 9.00, Valorant will Stagger Content Releases

A day after... they said...

Valorant’s Patch 9.00 is dropping soon, and boy, do we have some exciting changes coming your way. New content won’t be arriving with this patch, but that doesn’t mean it never will, instead, we’ll have to wait for a bit longer.

If you’re in a region that usually gets patches on Tuesdays, then the new in-game content will hit on Wednesdays, and the store will update on Thursdays. This gives you a full day to explore the new stuff before the store tempts you with fresh goodies.

As per the revealed information by Riot Games on X, this is what it was said:

  • Agents
  • Maps
  • Acts
  • Rank Refreshes
  • Battlepasses
  • Skins (~2 days after patch release)

But hey, not everything is on a delay. On the patch release day, you’ll still get balance changes to existing Agents, a new main menu background video, and updated login screen art. It’s like a teaser for all the big stuff coming the next day.

As for the console beta players, ranked mode is arriving on Wednesday, 6/26 PT. Finally, you can show off your skills and climb the ladder with the big boys.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC. If you need anything, feel free to contact me on X!
