Trainers, there are still four events in Pokemon Go left to mark the end of June, so let’s take a look at what the next, Scorching Steps event, has in store.
Scorching Steps is a limited-time event, scheduled to start on June 21, at 10 am and to end on June 25, at 8 pm local time. This event focuses on Eggs, bonuses related to hatching Eggs, and the most interesting of all – Shiny Larvesta.
Larvesta is the highlight of the event and as such you will be able to hatch it from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs. The chances of hatching shiny Larvesta will, unfortunately, not be increased, as with Shiny Slugma and Shiny Litleo. These two Pokemon and their shiny forms will be boosted during the event times, and you can only get ’em from 2 km and 5 km Eggs.
Shiny Larvesta will be so hard to get, and as soon as we have the shiny rates, we will make sure to keep you informed.
Now, let’s take a look at all the bonuses that we will be able to enjoy from June 21 until June 25.
Scorching Steps Event Bonuses
- 2× Candy from hatching Eggs
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event
- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance for the first three Eggs hatched during the event using the Pokemon Go Egg hatching widget
- Increased chance to encounter and hatch Shiny Slugma and Shiny Litleo
- Larvesta will be available to hatch from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs. If you’re very lucky, you might even hatch a Shiny Larvesta for the first time in Pokemon Go
