Trainers, it’s been eight years since Pokemon Go was released to the gaming world, and to celebrate, Niantic and Pokemon Go will be holding a new event, filled with lots of cool stuff – new shiny Pokemon, useful bonuses, many costumed Pokemon and their shiny versions, Timed Research quests, and a new Masterwork Research featuring Shiny Celebi as the main reward.
Pokemon Go is a free-to-play mobile game, which was released on iOS and Android devices on July 6th, 2016. In the beginning, for the first few months, all Pokemon Go fans were out on the streets, all focused on catching their favorite Pokemon. The parks were full, and every neighborhood was also engaged in catching the “strongest” Pokemon, but that euphoria didn’t last very long.
After a month or so it subsided, and since then the game has maintained a somewhat constant level that has continued to attract a good number of people, and here we are eight years later.
Niantic and Pokemon Go for the eighth birthday are preparing many surprises, some free, some with a symbolic amount of $2, and $5. The only thing that needs to be paid for is the event-exclusive Timed Research, and the Masterwork Research Whispers in the Woods that leads to an encounter with Shiny Celebi.
This event is quite interesting, and our recommendation is to be a part of all the happenings and enjoy all the things that Pokemon Go’s 8th Anniversary Party event has to offer.
We’ve got all the essentials, so feel free to take a look below.
