Microsoft Announces June Game Pass Lineup: The Callisto Protocol, Still Wakes the Deep, and More

June is here, and Microsoft has just dropped some killer news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. This month’s lineup is packed with highly anticipated day-one releases, returning favorites, and surprises that will get you hyped. Let’s dive into what’s coming to Game Pass in the first half of June.

Available Today: Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II

First up, we’ve got two gems from Square Enix. Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II are back in the Game Pass library. If you haven’t journeyed through Orsterra or Solistia yet, now’s the perfect time. These RPGs are all about exploring vast worlds with eight unique travelers, each with their own stories and abilities. Trust me, these games will have you hooked from the get-go.

June 12: Depersonalization

On June 12, get ready to immerse yourself in some creepy, Call of Cthulhu-inspired action with Depersonalization. This tabletop RPG for PC promises rich, branching narratives with multiple story modes and endings. If you’re into deep, themed worlds and making decisions that shape your journey, this one’s for you.

June 13: Isonzo and The Callisto Protocol

June 13 is a double whammy. First, we’ve got Isonzo, a WWI first-person shooter set in the scenic yet brutal Alps. It’s all about tactical warfare in high-altitude battles, and it looks intense.

But that’s not all. Survival horror fans, rejoice! The Callisto Protocol is joining Game Pass on June 13 for all platforms. This game is a blend of shooting and brutal melee combat, set in the maximum-security Black Iron Prison. You’ll need to scavenge for weapons and battle evolving inhuman creatures. It’s dark, it’s creepy, and it’s exactly what you need to get your heart racing.

June 18: Still Wakes the Deep

Last but certainly not least, we’ve got a day-one release with Still Wakes the Deep on June 18. This first-person narrative-driven horror adventure from The Chinese Room is set on an oil rig in the North Sea. With no way to fight back, all you can do is run and survive against an unknowable horror. It’s atmospheric, it’s terrifying, and it’s coming to Game Pass for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and cloud.

DLC and Game Updates

Don’t forget about the awesome DLC and game updates hitting this month. Minecraft is celebrating its 15th anniversary with discounts, a free anniversary world, cape, and add-ons. There are also some cool Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks like the Sea of Thieves: Ebon Flintlock Pack, Vigor: Heatwave Havoc Pack, and MultiVersus: MVP Pack 1.

Games Leaving June 15

Heads up, though, a few games are leaving Game Pass on June 15. Make sure to jump back into Bramble: The Mountain King, High on Life, Rune Factory 4 Special, Spacelines from the Far Out, and The Bookwalker before they’re gone. Or, if you’re hooked, use your membership discount to keep them in your library.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC. If you need anything, feel free to contact me on X!
