Hazelight Studios is prognozed to announce its next game at Gamescom 2024

Hazelight Studios, the developer behind “It Takes Two” and “A Way Out,” appears to hint at their next game announcement. With three years since the release of “It Takes Two,” their upcoming project might be revealed very soon, more precisely at this year’s Gamescom.

Recent activity on Twitter by Hazelight and its founder, Josef Fares, suggests something is fishy. Geoff Keighley, the producer and host of The Game Awards, Summer Game Fest, and Gamescom Opening Night Live, recently visited Hazelight’s office, and Fares tweeted a picture of himself with Keighley captioned, “Good s**t is happening this year.”

Gamescom Opening Night Live is scheduled for August, and it’s the next major event hosted by Keighley. If not, then the Game Awards in December might be the stage for the big reveal. Hazelight has previously hinted that their new game will be revealed this year, so it’s likely we’ll get more details soon. Who’s down for another It Takes Two experience? I mean, who’s not? I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC. If you need anything, feel free to contact me on X!
