Escape From Tarkov will get Favorite Gear and Weapons feature soon

Battlestate Games is adding more QoL features to Escape From Tarkov, and one of them will be the ability to add your gear and weapons to favorites. This feature will allow players to mark their favorite piece of gear and equip it much faster, or purchase it through flea, resulting in a shorter “downtime”, or faster prep time.

While we don’t fully know the reason behind this move, the COO of BSG, Nikita, shared on X that “favorites” is coming to the game soon. How soon? No one knows, but it could definitely be deployed with the next major update and wipe. You can find the post on X below:

According to the image, the feature will be integrated so that it will allow players to right click their favorite piece of gear and at it to favorite, which should allow users to easily locate and manage through their items, but also shorten their prep time for an upcoming raid.

This will also shorten your scroll time through your inventory, and get deployed to a raid much faster than before. What do you think about this change? I’d assume you’re a hardcore Tarkov player if you’re reading this. Do you think it will minimize the prep time or not? Let us know in the comments below!

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC. If you need anything, feel free to contact me on X!
