Ace Attorney Investigations Collection Announced for Switch

The long-awaited Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is finally making its way to Nintendo Switch, bringing not one but two fan-favorite titles in a remastered package. This collection includes the original Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and, for the first time ever in English, Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit. The collection officially drops on September 6, 2024.

Now, if you’ve never seen the world of Ace Attorney, these games are about plunging into thrilling cases, hunting down incriminating evidence, and grilling suspects until they crack. Nintendo describes it perfectly: “Immerse yourself in a thrilling world full of captivating cases where you’ll scour crime scenes for incriminating evidence, interrogate suspicious suspects, and untangle complex webs of deceit.” If that doesn’t get your investigative juices flowing, I don’t know what will.

Both games come with HD graphics, and they’ve added new languages, including French and German. Plus, they’ve updated the character models and artwork. They’ve polished up your favorite old-school games with a shiny new coat of paint. You’re not just playing these games again; you’re experiencing them differently.

Earlier this year, Capcom producer Kenichi Hashimoto hinted at something big. When asked about the potential for more Ace Attorney games using the RE Engine, he played it cool but dropped a tantalizing hint: “There’s nothing I can tell you at the moment,” he said, “but we’ve certainly gained knowledge about making adventure games with RE Engine. However, Ace Attorney will never end as a series, so in that sense, I hope you’ll look forward to hearing more news.” Translation? There’s more Ace Attorney goodness coming our way, folks.

So, what’s the takeaway here? If you’re a fan of the series, you’re in for a treat with this collection. If you’re new to Ace Attorney, there’s no better time to jump in. The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is going to be a must-have for any Switch owner who loves a good mystery.

That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years.
