Dragon’s Dogma 2 has sold 3 million copies!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 has officially hit the three million sales mark! Capcom’s latest entry in the open-world action RPG genre is killing it on the charts, and it’s no surprise, given the love and hype surrounding it.

So, what’s the deal with Dragon’s Dogma 2? This game launched on March 22nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s set in a brand-new world four times bigger than its predecessor. The game lets you step into the shoes of the Arisen, journeying through the vast lands of Vermund and Battahl on a quest to reclaim your stolen heart from a dragon.

But now, they’ve just announced that they’ve hit the three million mark. That’s insane growth in such a short time! The development team even took to Twitter to thank fans, saying they’re “grateful for your continued support.” It’s heartwarming to see a game resonate so well with its audience.

Critics have been showering Dragon’s Dogma 2 with praise, too. Our very own review gave it a perfect 10 out of 10. The game’s world-building, mechanics, and overall experience are being celebrated. But, and this is a big but, not everything’s perfect in the land of dragons and pawns. Some players, especially on PC, have been vocal about performance issues. Frame rate drops and other hiccups have been a bit of a downer. However, Capcom’s on it and has promised future updates to smooth things out. The most recent update even nerfed Dragonsplague, showing they’re listening to the community.

In a tweet, the Dragon’s Dogma team said, “Thank you to the 3 million Arisen who have embarked on adventures in Dragon’s Dogma 2! We are grateful for your continued support.” It’s clear they appreciate the massive player base that’s been diving into this epic adventure.
