Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global Shiny rates

It looks like something is missing from the Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global event, and that thing that is missing ties the whole event and makes it beautiful. Well, nothing can be perfect when it comes to Pokemon Go, right?

Given that Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global is one of the biggest events in Pokemon Go, we all expect for Shiny Pokemon to have increased rates, and to be everywhere, right? Well, it is the very opposite, unfortunately. Shiny rates are seemingly low in an event where they should be high.

Many players report that they all are hunting down Shiny Pokemon, but all they have encountered are non-Shiny Pokemon. Some got one or two Shiny Pokemon, while others literally have zero Shiny Pokemon from the Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global event.

But what are the actual Shiny rates, you may ask? Well, they are lower than you expect.

Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global Shiny Pokemon and their Shiny rates

  • Uxie – 1/20
  • Mesprit – 1/20
  • Azelf – 1/20
  • Pikachu (including Costumes) – 1/64
  • Hisuian Growlithe – 1/64
  • Hisuian Voltorb – 1/64
  • Hisuian Qwilfish – 1/64
  • Hisuian Sneasel – 1/64
  • Turtwig – 1/64
  • Chimchar – 1/64
  • Piplup – 1/64
  • Shinx – 1/64
  • Stunky – 1/64
  • Bronzor – 1/64
  • Gible – 1/64
  • Rest of the spawns – 1/512

As I said, they are lower than expected. Which is a shame, coming from the fact that the Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global event is a really big event in the Pokemon Go community.
