BSG’s Nikita teased what appears to be a possible map expansion in Escape From Tarkov

Nikita from BSG posted three images on X, teasing what looks like a brand-new map expansion for Escape From Tarkov. From the looks of it, we’re either getting a Customs or Woods expansion. The community is super excited about this, and most of the chatter points towards Customs getting the upgrade. Customs has there since day one, and the map has already received multiple expansions before.

People are all over the place with their theories, but the consensus seems to lean heavily towards a Customs expansion. And why not? Customs is like the beating heart of Tarkov. It’s been there since the beginning and has seen plenty of facelifts. Yet, every time it gets an update, it feels fresh and challenging. As for the post by Nikita, you can take a look at it below:

There are a couple of reasons why BSG would choose Customs as a map to receive new expansion. First of all, it’s a fan favorite, and its terrain kind of supports both CQB and Long Range encounters. It’s also the map where new players learn the ropes and where old-school vets test their skills.

Which map do you think it’s getting this expansion? By the way, we hyped it so much that, in the end, it might turn out to be just a new Arena map. I’ll laugh if that happens.
